FAQ

If you can’t find the answer under About, Pricing, Allergies or Flavours, chances are you will find it here!

Do you make mini cupcakes?

Not at this time. They are darling and cute, but my recipes are far better suited to standard-sized cupcakes.

How much notice do you need for orders?

Orders needed from Tuesday-Sunday require 48 hours notice. Orders for Monday need to be placed by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Orders required for holidays require 5 days’ notice. If you are placing a large order (3 dozen or more cupcakes), please be generous with your notice.

Do you deliver?

No. All orders must be picked up.

I’m not a vegan and I don’t have food allergies. Will I still enjoy these?

Abso-freakin’-lutely. You won’t miss the eggs or dairy products; guaranteed.

Do you have any alternatives to red dyes?

Yes! If you cannot tolerate red dyes in the icing I can use natural alternatives to give your cupcakes the look you want.

Do you have alternatives to refined sugar?

Yes! I can prepare your cupakes using yellow sugar cane natural sugar (sucanat) or coconut sugar. I also have a few recipes that use maple syrup or agave nectar as alternatives to refined sugar. If you have a sweetener you prefer, please email me to discuss your request. ($3 per dozen)

Can you make gluten-free cupcakes?

Yes! I use coconut flour as a substitute upon request. ($3 per dozen)

Can you bake your cupcakes using whole wheat flour?

I have had success baking most of my recipes using 50% unbleached all-purpose flour and 50% whole wheat flour. If you would like a little fibre in your treat, just ask for the wheat!

Do you take custom orders?

My cupcakes are typically sold as pictured, but I can work with your special requests for colours and flavour combinations (for example, I can make chocolate cupcakes with the Chai Latte buttercream icing, add chocolate ganache filling to Cookies n’ Cream cupcakes, top with jellybeans, etc.). My decorations are beautiful in their simplicity and most cupcakes feature a swirl of luscious buttercream icing or decadent chocolate ganache. I am not skilled in making Elmo, Tinkerbell, Ninja Turtles, and other likenesses out of buttercream and have no experience using fondant.

What kind of milk do you use in your baking?

I use So Delicious organic unsweetened coconut milk in my recipes.

Do you bake cakes?

Only in cupcake form.

Do you bake breads, cookies and squares?

Nope! I stick to what I do best, and that’s cupcakes.

Can I get an assorted box of flavours?

Because I am such a small bakery, I sell each flavour by the dozen.

Can I freeze my cupcakes?

Some cupcakes freeze better than others. Best to ask me if you plan to freeze them.

How can I contact you?
