Welcome New Flavour!

New to the menu areĀ Agave Sweetened Chocolate Cupcakes with Coconut Caramel Frosting. With the exception of the chocolatey ganache drizzled on top, they are completely free of refined sugar. Coconut sugar and shredded unsweetened coconut make up the main ingredients of this unconventional, but delicious topping.

Agave nectar is known for having a lower glycemic index than traditional white sugar, meaning that these are a little less likely to cause a rapid spike in your blood sugar levels. That being said, everyone has their limits and there are plenty of naturally occurring sugars used in this recipe. I look forward to sharing this lower calorie cupcake with you!
